GREGORY RECEIVES TOP RATING FROM CHRISTIAN FAMILY COALITION

Today, the Tommy Gregory Campaign announced that he has been rated “Highly Qualified” by the Christian Family Coalition (CFC) Florida. Gregory is running for the District 73 seat in the Florida House of Representatives, currently held by Joe Gruters, who is running for the Florida Senate.

“I’m honored to receive CFC Florida’s highest rating,” said Gregory. “They do outstanding, important work protecting religious freedom in our state, and I look forward to partnering with them to protect the rights of pastors and all people of faith in the Sunshine State.”

Christian Family Coalition Florida was at the forefront of the successful fight in Tallahassee for the passage of the Florida Pastor Protection Act, historic state legislation that prohibits discrimination against clergy, houses of worship, religious schools and religious organizations who believe marriage continues to be the union of one man and one woman. CFC Florida also hosts conferences to educate pastors on their constitutional rights.

In addition to receiving CFC Florida’s “Highly Qualified” rating, Gregory also received an “A” rating from Florida Right to Life and has been endorsed by the National Rifle Association, Gulf Coast Builders Exchange, and a host of current and former elected officials. They include Sarasota County Property Appraiser Bill Furst; Sarasota County Commissioners Paul Caragiolo, Charles Hines, Alan Maio, and Michael Moran; Manatee County Commissioner Robin DiSabatino; and 12th Judicial Circuit Public Defender Larry Eger. He has also been endorsed by former U.S. Senator Connie Mack; Sarasota County Sheriff Tom Knight; former Manatee County Sheriff Brad Steube; former Manatee County Sheriff Charlie Wells; State Representative Danny Burgess; former State Senator Lisa Carlton; former Manatee County Commissioners Donna Hayes and Jonathan Bruce; and former Sarasota County Commissioner Christine Robinson.
